Do you support websites that you haven’t built?
We have a number of sites that we support which we didn’t build. These are usually MODX websites. We are usually careful about taking on other developer’s code, as we want to make sure that we can support you in the way that you need. If you have an existing site you want to move over to our care, then get in touch. We would be more than happy to take a look.
If I don’t use my support hours, do they roll over?
Unfortunately this is not possible.
How do I know that my site is being updated and checked each month?
Every month we send an update report with all the updates that have been made. (See above)
Can I buy more support hours if I need them for a particular month?
Of course - sometimes you might just want to get things done! We will be able to advise how much more time is needed and give you an estimate before starting work.
Is there anything excluded from being billable for support?
We obviously don’t charge for time scoping/quoting or discussing new work or development. Also, there is no charge for anything that is directly and recently a result of a mistake on our part. This is decided at our discretion.
Are there any restrictions to what I use my support time for?
Support is intended to be used for answering questions, fixing small issues, research or making minor changes to the site.
How do I cancel website maintenance if I no longer need it?
All you have to do is give us one months notice in writing.
